Disadvantages Of C Language

 C does have a few disadvantages. It is a terse language. Since C is a free-form language and does ot impose strict style rules, C programs cand be difficult to understand, especially if the programmer has not made the effrort to make the program readable.


Disadvantages of C are:
1. There is no runtime checking.
2.There is no strict type checking(for ex:we can pass an integer value for the floating data type).
3. As the program extends it is very difficult to fix the bugs.
4. C allows a programmer direct accsess to memory through the use of pointers. If not used correctly, they can have a disastrous effect on not only the program and data, but also other parts of computer such as operating system
